This is my opinion and my experience. Not a medical guide. Your team knows your body. Ask them everything, twice if you need to.
Any way of bringing a baby into the world is LIFE. Caesarean or physiological birth. We are incredible. If they think something is medically better for you and the baby, they should tell you clearly, and with respect. Look for people you feel a connection with.
Small things. The days are long. Kindness is not a luxury.

Anything that sits on the incision is a fight. High waist, disposable for the first days, then cotton when you can. Ice pads if they feel good to you.

Soft cotton. Opens for feeding. Does not sit tight on the belly. Petite Siesta nightgowns and pyjamas did this for me. Their baby line is not the point. This is for you.
